Black History Month

February is a time when many people around the world pause and think about how many African Americans were treated in the past. February marks Black History Month. Grade 8 students at Catalina Elementary will spend this month learning about the past and how African Americans came to overcome their past and move forward to receive the same rights and freedoms as everyone else in the world.
